Psychology of Women Designers Opposed to Male Desi Essays

Psychology of Women Designers Opposed to Male Designers Grant Phillips Art 3601: Design History Matt Greenwell April 2, 2018 1 I intend to e xplore the psychological differences between men and women. Are forms of lesser arts connected to the interests and abilities of women more so than men? Naturally (biologically), do the differences between men and women allow women to create better quality lesser art than men? Exploring the psychological differences between men and women, I want to attempt to solve the question of are forms of lesser arts connected to the interests and abilities of women more so than men? In addition to this, naturally (biologically), do the differences between men and women allow women to create better quality "lesser art" forms than men? I expect to find possibilities based on what statistically a lot of women are wired like, of subgenres of art that are most similar and connected to those personality types. I expect to find similar personality types among men (to the larger proportion of women that are in line with the designer personality type) that lead them to be interested in and talented in the same area With this paper I plan to use "The Lesser Arts" by William Morris (in that the section we were allotted in cl ass and the rest of the text), along with this I also plan to use statistical studies of the percent of people working jobs in the design field historically and in the present, men and women that is. Furthermore I intend to use various psychological articles, peer reviewed sources and peer reviewed journals. 2 I believe this will be a rewarding paper for me to write and for you to read because it includes information on what potentially makes women quality designers on a psychological basis instead of a view rooted in women being designer s because of a lack of options because of their status in society and with this a lack of opportunity.
